It is my personal opinion, not only as an experienced interviewer over the last 15 years of being a recruiter (while concurrently being a financial consultant) for a company of national repute, that the reason why Gujarat and more specifically, Ahmedabad, has not become the globally reputed hub for Information Technology, which it richly deserves, considering that after Bangalore, this city has the distinction of being the city that produces the maximum number of globally employed technologically savvy personnel, is that this city has consistently been an inherent low paymaster for any Information Technology related profession or employment. – CA Vikram S.
